Explanation of various environmental conditions:

Wind chill
Wind chill describes the difference between the measured air temperature and the perceived temperature as a function of wind speed. Some of our UV meters/UV testers can record wind chill and other parameters.

Air Pressure
The air pressure at any point in Earth’s atmosphere is the hydrostatic pressure of the air at that point. This pressure corresponds to the weight of the column of air above the Earth’s surface or of an object located within it. The average atmospheric pressure at sea level is 101,325 Pa = 1,013.25 hPa = 101.325 kPa and is therefore part of standard conditions.

Dew point / Dew point temperature
Air can absorb more water vapor as the temperature increases. When the temperature of the building material or air, which has reached 100% relative humidity, drops, the excess water vapor condenses as condensation. The boundary area is called the dew point. Buildings should be designed so that the dew point temperature on the inside of the air tightness layer does not fall below. This prevents the formation of condensation and the resulting structural damage or mold. Air currents through the air tightness layer are particularly harmful. In this case, a drop in the dew point is always expected. The wet bulb temperature, which plays an important role in the air conditioning industry, for example, is a very important parameter in many other areas.
