The air quality monitor is specifically designed for long-term monitoring of indoor climate conditions, for example, in offices, classrooms, or lecture halls. The air quality meter is equipped with various sensors. Among other things, it features a carbon dioxide sensor with a range of up to 40,000 ppm, a temperature sensor with a range of 0 … 50 °C, a humidity sensor with a measurement range of 0 … 100% RH, and a barometer with a measurement range of 300 … 2000 hPa. As a result, the air quality meter can be used in many applications due to its wide range of sensors. The measured values are displayed directly on the air quality meter’s e-paper screen. It also displays a “good,” “moderate,” or “poor” assessment of the carbon dioxide content in the outdoor air.
During measurement, the air quality monitor can automatically save the measured values. The measured values are saved in .csv format on a micro-SD card. This means that the measurement data recorded by the air quality monitor can be imported directly into the company’s own database. The measurement data from the air quality monitor can be displayed in graphical and tabular formats using the software.
The air quality monitor has an alarm function. This alarm mode can be used to set threshold values for individual sensors. As soon as the air quality reading reaches the set threshold value, an alarm is triggered both audibly and visually via the alarm LED. When the air quality meter falls below the threshold value again, the alarm automatically turns off.
The measured values are displayed numerically on the air quality monitor’s 2.7″ screen. To better analyze the most recent measured values, you can switch the screen to histogram view. The energy-efficient e-paper display ensures a long battery life for the air quality monitor. Depending on the settings, the battery can last for about 10 months before it needs to be recharged. The air quality monitor can also be used continuously via a micro-USB charging cable.
