The PCE-WSAC 50W 230 air velocity meter is primarily used to measure and monitor wind loads on cranes or wind turbines. In addition, wind conditions can be measured and analyzed before a wind turbine is commissioned. The PCE-WSAC 50W 230 wind speed meter is equipped with an alarm relay for pre-alarm or main alarm.
Thanks to its wide measurement range of up to 50 m, the wind speed meter can also track storm-force gusts. The wireless wind speed meter has a range of up to 750 m / 2,500 feet in open terrain on the 2.4 GHz frequency band. When the PCE-WSAC 50W 230 wind speed meter is mounted on a building, the wind sensor’s operating range is up to 60 m / 200 ft. Thanks to the wind alarm display’s integrated 4–20 mA analog output, the measured data can also be transmitted to other controllers for evaluation.
