The BE52 can be used to measure DC and AC voltage, DC and AC current, capacitance, measuring frequency and duty cycle, measuring resistance, and performing diode tests and acoustic continuity tests.
A truly durable and powerful RMS multimeter
The measured values are clearly displayed on a large, backlit LCD screen. Thanks to the convenient hold function, the measured values can still be read on the screen even after the measurement is complete. During a continuity test, an audible signal alerts you to a short circuit or a closed circuit, allowing you to work more quickly since you don’t have to keep your eyes on the screen while measuring. To keep both hands free for measurement tasks, a fold-out stand is integrated into the back of the device. This allows the meter to be placed on a flat surface in an easily readable position. The device’s automatic shut-off (Auto-Power-Off) after 15 minutes of inactivity is battery-friendly and practical.

The Difference Between Standard Measuring Instruments and Those with True RMS Capability
A digital measuring instrument without an actual RMS function assumes that the measured AC signal is sinusoidal and uses this assumption to convert the measured raw signal for display. In reality, however, the current waveform is never purely sinusoidal; devices such as switching power supplies, speed or power controllers, etc., cause disturbances that in turn result in distorted current waveforms. Since these are no longer purely sinusoidal, they cannot be measured accurately without the True RMS function.
True RMS measuring instruments can accurately measure even non-sinusoidal signal waveforms and are therefore capable of directly determining the true effective value of any variable. “Root Mean Square” (RMS) refers to the accurate determination and output of the true effective value.
