The absolute moisture meter has been specifically designed for lightweight and bulk materials. It features an exceptionally large drying pan and is suitable for use in the fields of raw material extraction, production, processing, research, and recycling.
With a maximum capacity of 400 g, a volume of 360 cm³, and a high measurement resolution of 0.001 g, the absolute moisture analyzer enables accurate and reliable moisture measurement. The balance operates on the principle of simultaneous weighing and drying: weight loss is continuously recorded and displayed as a percentage of the total mass. With a heating element rated at 2 x 250 W and an adjustable heating temperature ranging from 40 °C to 220 °C, the Absolute Moisture Meter offers fast and flexible drying of samples. The device provides various parameters for analysis, including moisture %, dry matter %, moisture % bd, as well as residual mass in grams per kilogram and residual mass.

Practical features include an automatic shut-off function that stops the drying process once a constant weight has been reached. This can be flexibly set based on three criteria: start of sampling, sampling interval, and weight loss per sampling interval. A timer with a duration of 1 to 180 minutes is also available. The menu lock protects parameters from accidental adjustment; the menu can be locked with a PIN code, while the CAL menu item remains accessible. For easy management of drying profiles, the balance has up to 9 program memory slots. Data is output via an RS-232 interface or a USB connection. Optional software is available for transferring data to a computer. GLP-compliant documentation is performed using the Data Bridge software, as the balance does not have an integrated printer. However, an external printer can be purchased separately for direct output of measurement data. A 4-digit device ID also allows for unique identification of measurement data.

The absolute moisture meter is ideal for use in the wood, agricultural, and plastics industries, for example, for wood chips, animal feed, or pellets. It provides accurate results even at very low moisture content levels.
