The XC300, equipped with a high-capacity Li-Ion battery for extremely long measurement periods, leaves nothing to be desired and, with its many integrated measurement functions, enables users in the industrial and construction sectors to perform accurate real-time measurements with high native resolution. , real-time full-radiometric video recording with a high-resolution detector, combinations of infrared and real-time images, daylight images, comprehensive on-site analyses, and, optionally, voice recording via Bluetooth—high-quality analysis software is already included in the standard scope of delivery for comprehensive documentation.

With its many innovative features, the XC300 is ideally suited to the demands of the construction industry, but it is also suitable for other demanding applications, such as electrothermography or preventive maintenance in industrial environments.

Ideal for building diagnostics and industrial applications

At the heart of the XC infrared camera is a high-resolution 384 x 288 infrared image sensor with 110,592 independent temperature measurement points. The camera produces fully radiometric thermal images with fine detail, revealing even the smallest temperature differences.

Infrared recordings can be saved not only as individual images, but also, optionally, as MPEG-4 video directly to the camera (non-radiometric) or optionally transferred to a computer as fully radiometric IR video, thanks to the 50/60 Hz frequency. The data can be recorded and analyzed directly in real time.

The XC300’s robust design ensures long-term, trouble-free operation even in harsh construction site conditions. The XC300 features a shock-resistant two-component design with an IP54 protection rating, and its uncooled microbolometer technology means that no regular maintenance or calibration is required.

High sensitivity, excellent image quality

The XC300 can measure temperatures up to +600 °C (optionally up to +1500 °C) and—thanks to its very high thermal sensitivity—can detect temperature differences as small as 0.05 °C (50 mK).

The electric focus can be controlled either automatically via laser or manually; with the XC300’s 10x digital zoom, you can freely select the measurement area. Optional interchangeable lenses further expand the range of applications.

The built-in laser rangefinder is also helpful for all measurement tasks. When it is turned on, you can read the measurement distance to the object directly from the screen.

In addition to the laser rangefinder, this thermal imaging camera’s standard equipment includes a 5-megapixel real-image camera, a photo light, and a laser pointer for visual target identification. The XC300 is also the first Trotec thermal imaging camera equipped with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, ensuring significantly longer measurement sessions on a single charge.

All of the XC300’s features are designed to ensure user comfort and operational efficiency. Unlike other thermal cameras in this class, where you typically have to preset temperature range (range) and selection (level) settings in the menu and then verify them in the live view, but can be configured directly using the cursor keys, and changes can be monitored in real time on the screen.

The XC300’s optional IR video feature allows full-radiometric infrared video to be transmitted to a computer simultaneously with measurements, where it can be evaluated and saved directly in real time using software, creates optimal conditions for a very thorough analysis of the measurement results. . This feature allows, for example, a detailed study of the heating and cooling behavior of electronic and mechanical components or other objects over a specified period of time.

And the DuoVision features integrated into the XC300 thermal imaging camera allow for real-time display with a wide range of settings during measurement. With the picture-in-picture display function of DuoVision, in addition to displaying infrared or visible images, it is possible to display a combination of both image types with varying degrees of overlap.

In addition, the optional DuoVision Plus feature combines infrared image data with high-contrast, detailed visible-light images from the camera, displaying an extremely detailed thermal image overlay in real time on the camera screen.

This type of display significantly facilitates orientation, localization, and assessment during measurements, allowing damage or defects to be detected and identified more quickly. In addition to many other features, the included software also offers the DuoVision function for displaying overlay documentation.

In addition to these features, there are many others. For example, the user can also take periodic image recordings. This allows the user to record a series of thermal images at a preselected recording interval, such as every 30 minutes. This recording interval is ideal for documenting long-term thermal behavior. Optionally, voice comments can also be recorded directly with the IR image via Bluetooth using a headset.
