FR120-1280 Adsorption Air Dryer -20°C to +40°C 14.6–161.76 kg/24h
The FR series air dryers are ideal for smaller applications that require efficient humidity control and long-term reliability. A special design that allows for very easy access to all maintenance and installation components.
Small, compact design
The dehumidifier operates using two air streams (two fans)
- The most important thing is the air that needs to be dried
- A secondary airflow—with a lower flow rate—is used to regenerate the dehumidification rotor.
The air to be dried, also known as “process air,” passes through a desiccant rotor impregnated with silica gel.
The moisture removal process can take place at temperatures ranging from -30°C to +40°C. During the process, the rotor rotates very slowly
and is equipped with a reduction gear and a belt drive system. The system uses so-called “
-air regeneration” to remove and discharge the absorbed moisture.
STRUCTURE
The air dryer’s structure is made of externally painted galvanized steel. The top panel can be removed for maintenance of the electrical components and all other internal mechanical parts.
FANS
The fans are directly connected to a single-phase AC or EC motor with IP55, ISO F, Class B rating. They are accessible for maintenance by removing the upper control panel at
. The process and regeneration fans start immediately when the dehumidifier is powered on and can be manually adjusted using the potentiometer located on the front of the unit at
(available starting with model AD420).
NEXT SYSTEM
The rotor’s movement is controlled by a belt drive system. The belt applies traction to the outer edge of the rotor and is driven by a belt pulley
and a gearbox motor. A special device maintains the correct tension on the belt to prevent slippage.
REGENERATIVE AIR
Electric. The electric regeneration heater is a self-regulating PTC type designed to maintain a uniform surface temperature.
FILTERS
The air dryer is equipped with a G3 filter at the process and regeneration air inlets.
ELECTRICAL PANEL
The electrical panel is manufactured in accordance with European standards 73/23 and 89/336. Access to the electrical panel is possible by removing
the unit’s top panel. All units are equipped with the following components: a main switch, an ammeter, an operating hours counter, and a connector for connecting the unit to an external hygrostat.
