The PCE-WNM 100 whiteness tester is used to measure the whiteness of flat surfaces or powders. In particular, the whiteness meter can be used to measure the whiteness of textile prints, dyes, building materials, cardboard and paper, and plastics. It can also be used to measure any other surfaces. The whiteness measuring device consists of a light source and an optical measuring system that measures light reflectance and thereby determines the surface whiteness in accordance with ISO R457 (ISO 2469).
The whiteness meter can be used immediately after initial calibration with the included white standard. The memory, which can store up to 245 measurement data points, allows you to save the measured values. The meter can be connected to a computer via a serial interface. This allows you to log the whiteness meter’s measurement data in real time.
