A 3-phase energy meter is a compact device for measuring and displaying various grid parameters in three-phase networks. This 3-phase energy meter can record energy values for individual consumers or electrical circuits. In addition to voltages and currents, it measures apparent, reactive, and active power, as well as active and reactive energy, and displays these values on a 68 x 55 mm screen. Furthermore, this three-phase energy meter features an integrated RS485 interface, which allows for integration into existing systems. Communication via the RS485 interface uses the Modbus RTU protocol. This allows you to read measured values from the three-phase energy meter or to read and modify the device’s settings.

The 3-phase electricity meter is designed for installation in an electrical panel with a 96×96 mm cutout. The package includes a transparent door that can be attached to the front panel, thereby protecting the device from dust and moisture. In addition to numerous measurement functions, the 3-phase energy meter offers alarm functions. A stable power supply is a top priority for every utility operator. To prevent power quality fluctuations and disruptions, grid monitoring, control, and automation must be adapted and optimized.
