The Niisuti B 500 operates on the principle of evaporation. This prevents scale buildup and condensation, and also makes it impossible for the air to become oversaturated.

The electronically controlled dehumidifier operates almost silently. Its exceptionally quiet radial fan can be adjusted using four manual power settings or operated fully automatically. A built-in, calibrable hygrostat regulates the desired humidity level. The infrared remote control ensures safe operation of the dehumidifier: unauthorized persons cannot change the device’s settings!

Greater security through the self-diagnostic system…

The display, with its clear, user-friendly menu, provides information on all operating parameters, such as water level, fan speed, and relative humidity in the room. The self-diagnostic system indicates when filter changes are needed and reports malfunctions, including error codes. The integrated alarm relays can also be used, if necessary, to transmit error messages directly to an external or central alarm system.

In addition to thoroughly humidifying the air, the device filters and purifies it, removes dust, and prevents the buildup of electrostatic charges.

Wireless sensor measurement at distances of up to 30 m

The wireless radio sensor system provides even more accurate and stable readings. The battery-powered sensor can be easily and discreetly installed in a suitable location within the measurement range ¹ —for example, on a wall or ceiling—and ensures reliable, consistent measurement and humidifier control from a distance of up to 30 meters. When the battery is low, an audible signal alerts you to replace the battery.

The B 500 plastic housing is antistatic, acid- and alkali-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and dimensionally stable. Due to its modular construction, individual components can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance without tools—moving parts are protected by guards.

In addition, the device has freeze protection and automatically shuts off when the water runs out.

To reduce the salt concentration in the water and minimize scaling, the B 500 can be equipped with either a manual or a fully automatic rinsing system.

Raising the humidity level to 50% reduces the risk of virus transmission
Experts have evaluated the results of studies on the resistance of viruses (e.g., SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, or SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)) to humidity and temperature. It turned out that only low temperatures and low humidity allow the virus to survive for a long time. Even at moderate temperatures of 20–30 °C, the viruses’ survival times were still long—but only if the air was very dry at the same time. And very high temperatures above 30 °C render coronaviruses inactive. This means that in our buildings, we provide the virus with ideal climatic conditions—a temperature range of 20–24 degrees and humidity levels between 20% and a maximum of 40%. Or simply not at all!
Experts emphasize that increasing indoor humidity can reduce the risk of infection. Raising humidity to about 50% through humidification reduces the risk of infection. Humidification can be used in both private and professional settings. In addition, humidified air improves the respiratory tract’s defense mechanisms through more effective cleansing of the airways and enhanced immune protection.
