BM12 Firewood Moisture Meter
With the easy-to-use BM12, you can measure the moisture content of wood and building materials in seconds. The steel measuring probes, which are easy to replace if necessary, ensure a secure connection to the test material and thus accurate measurement results. With two selectable measurement modes, you can configure the BM12 to measure the moisture content of lumber and firewood, or to determine the moisture content of soft building materials such as plaster, stucco, or screed, .
In addition to the material’s moisture content, the device also measures the temperature of the surrounding air, which can be displayed in either °C or °F.
The device also has an automatic shut-off feature that ensures a long battery life. The hygrometer turns off after about 2 minutes if it is not in use.
To measure wood moisture content, the device includes calibration curves for wood species commonly found in Europe. Therefore, no additional settings are required to determine the moisture content of the wood.
