Heat condensation is a method in which, in the first stage, moisture is captured by an adsorbent, which is then regenerated once the adsorbent has reached saturation. Regeneration occurs by heating the adsorbent. This results in condensed water and dry air. No connections are required, except for draining the condensed water, which makes installation very simple and easy. It also means that all the energy supplied remains in the room and is not vented outside. Thanks to Airwatergreens technology, the dehumidifier is independent of the ambient temperature and operates equally efficiently in any climate, even down to sub-zero temperatures.
REX is controlled based on humidity, dew point, or mold index. The device can be connected to a cloud service, allowing you to easily monitor and control it using your smartphone.
Installation is simple and straightforward. All you need is an electrical connection and a condensate drain. All REX series dehumidifiers are automatically controlled based on relative humidity, but they can also be adjusted using the dew point and mold index. You can always control all functions via the display.

Rex Dehumidifier
A dehumidifier’s energy efficiency is measured by the amount of energy required to remove one kilogram of water from the air in the climate where the unit operates. Capacity is expressed in kilograms of water per hour; multiply this by the dehumidifier’s energy consumption. This is how you calculate the costs associated with dehumidification! When comparing technologies and products, it’s important to use the correct temperature and humidity levels! Especially if you also want to save energy by lowering the room temperature. A good humidity level in most buildings is below 60% RH. This helps prevent mold and corrosion. All older technologies used in air dryers require more energy at lower temperatures. Airwatergreens’ warm condensation technology is the only one that is completely independent of the air conditioner’s operation.
According to a test conducted by the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute (RISE), the FLEX series requires only 2 kWh to extract 1 kilogram of water from the air, while the REX series requires approximately 1.5 kWh per kilogram of water.
