PCE-UFD 50 Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Gauge

Wall thickness gauge for testing non-destructive materials / Video recording of screen content / Integrated DAC and AVG functions / A-scan display

A wall thickness gauge is used to test non-destructive materials. When testing with a wall thickness gauge, waves are transmitted through the test object via a probe. Ultrasound is reflected and scattered at the interfaces between different materials that have unequal densities and acoustic impedances. After determining the time it takes for the ultrasonic waves to travel through the test object, the wall thickness gauge can be used to test welds, measure wall thicknesses, and locate defects in components.

With adjustable frequencies ranging from 0.5 to 20 MHz and sound speeds ranging from 1,000 to 15,000 m/s, measurements can be taken at depths ranging from 0 to 10,000 mm. DAC and AVG evaluation methods, display and probe delay, attenuation and amplification functions, export and report generation functions, and numerous other configuration options make non-destructive testing of materials with a wall thickness gauge significantly easier. The tester features on-screen video recording. The software can then be used to retrieve data and generate reports. Configuration parameters can be adjusted using a rotary knob. The 5.7-inch color screen provides a clear display of test results.

The wall thickness gauge is a powerful measuring device designed for specialized testing. Its robust and ergonomic design makes it suitable for use in industrial environments. Weighing just 1.1 kg, the wall thickness gauge can be used not only as a desktop unit but is also suitable for mobile use.
