The PCE-MFM 3000 magnetic field tester is suitable for measuring both static and varying magnetic fields. This makes the magnetic field tester ideal, for example, for checking solenoid valves or relays. This is particularly useful in the industrial sector, where it is necessary to quickly verify functionality—for example, whether a valve is still operating properly or a relay is still switching. The PCE-MFM 3000 magnetic field tester measures the magnetic field accumulated through the housing. Therefore, there is no longer any need to open the device, and its operation can be checked very quickly and accurately.
Thanks to its very flat measuring tip, the magnetic field tester’s external probe can penetrate the object being measured even through small openings. This is particularly useful when measuring air-core transformers. The magnetic field tester is also suitable for explaining and demonstrating magnetic field behavior, as the digital display clearly shows increases or decreases in field strength. Due to the magnetic field tester’s small measurement ranges, this device is also ideal for safely measuring weak magnetic fields. Particularly small holding magnets or magnetic guides have relatively weak magnetic fields, and this measuring device can detect them.
