The Itec KJS-6 ozone generator is a professional odor control and air disinfection device that offers very high performance. This ozonator is designed to eliminate odors in cars, apartments, hotels, and nursing homes, as well as to remove smoke or pet odors, and to address the aftermath of fires or water damage. Unpleasant odors are effectively and permanently eliminated thanks to the device’s exceptionally high ozone output. Blowing ozonated air into a room reduces odors and sterilizes the space. The device operates on a highly effective principle, resulting in immediately noticeable results.

During the oxidation process, certain types of odor molecules are burned and rendered harmless. The only byproduct of oxidation is oxygen. Ozone molecules are active in the air and can penetrate soft or porous materials such as fabrics and car interiors.

Air sterilization works on the same principle. Ozone molecules attack the cell walls of bacteria, mold, and viruses, effectively neutralizing them.

To remove mild odors from vehicles, a 15-minute ozone treatment is sufficient. For stronger odors in larger spaces, an 8-hour cyclic treatment is recommended. The device can sterilize the air in spaces up to 1,300 m³ and make it virtually odor-free. It takes a maximum of 15 minutes to remove microorganisms from a vehicle’s interior.

The operating temperature must be above 10 degrees, and the relative humidity must be below 75%. Otherwise, the ozonation time will increase significantly, and the service life of the corona element will be shortened. Some natural rubbers may also react with ozone. Metals, wood, plastics, etc., do not oxidize because ozone does not penetrate deep into the material layers.
