A dry winter and heated indoor air can make you feel unwell and, among other things, lead to more colds. Infants and children are particularly sensitive to dry air, as their skin and noses dry out more quickly.

Humidity levels of 40–60% offer many benefits. Mucous membranes and the respiratory tract dry out less, the skin, nose, and eyes remain moisturized, and natural protective and cleansing processes are supported. Better absorption of oxygen into the bloodstream also leads to fewer headaches and improved concentration. The right level of humidity is crucial for our well-being and ability to work.

For customization to suit your needs, the B 25 E features a built-in hygrostat with 5 adjustable humidity settings and 4 fan speeds. The B 25 E operates fully automatically; simply set the target humidity using one of the 5 humidity settings. The B 25 E will then humidify the air until the desired humidity is reached and will automatically turn back on if the humidity drops below that level.

And to make your sense of well-being complete, the humidifier diffuses the scent of your choice using an essential oil reservoir! You can be sure that your home will always smell fresh and inviting, and that the atmosphere will be just right for your well-being. Since essential oils don’t need to be added directly to the water—they’re added separately to the fragrance oil container—this prevents the filter from becoming contaminated.

In the bedrooms, the humidifier operates almost imperceptibly—in addition to its consistently very quiet operation, its indicator LEDs can also be dimmed in night mode.

When the water in the tank runs out, the device automatically turns off, further reducing its already low energy consumption.

Another unique feature of the B 25 E is the SecoSan Stick holder, which is integrated into the bottom of the water tank. The stick included in the package ensures clean water for up to 6 months, even with daily water changes or consumption.

SecoSan prevents the growth of microbes using a very simple principle: silver ions. Thanks to a special antimicrobial surface, silver ions are released directly into the bacteria and microbes in the immediate vicinity. This prevents microbial growth, while the water remains clean and uncontaminated. SecoSan doses itself automatically.

Another unique feature is inside the device—the honeycomb filter

This system uses the principle of natural evaporation to humidify dry air. The filter’s porous structure significantly increases the water’s surface area. Dry air is drawn through the humidified filter, naturally becoming saturated with moisture. The air absorbs only as much water as it can, making over-humidification impossible and ensuring that humidity always remains within the optimal range of 40%–60%. Limescale and other contaminants in the water (such as microorganisms) remain in the water tank and filter and are therefore not released into the room air. This ensures hygienic operation with 99% fewer bacteria than ultrasonic humidifiers.
