A naturally effective cooling principle
Unlike air conditioners, air coolers do not use chemical refrigerants. The cooling process occurs entirely naturally, and there is no need for a drain hose or complicated installation.
A portable air cooler operates on the principle of natural evaporative cooling. You know this from personal experience: when air blows on damp skin, you feel an immediate cooling effect because the evaporation process draws heat away. It’s the same with air coolers: inside the unit is a filter mat saturated with water. Warm air is directed from the back of the unit through the wet filter mat and cooled by evaporation. The cooler air is then blown into the room by a fan.
