BM22 Material and Wood Moisture Meter
The BM22’s sturdy, easily replaceable (if necessary) stainless steel measuring probes ensure a secure connection to the test material and guarantee reliable measurement results when measuring the moisture content of sawn timber and firewood or when determining the moisture content of soft building materials, such as gypsum, plaster, or leveling compounds.
The additional direct display of the tulip scale and moisture content in absolute percentages makes it easier to read moisture readings, while the two different scale ranges for wood and building materials enhance accuracy.
To measure wood moisture content, a calibration curve is stored in the device that corresponds to the average wood temperature of 20 °C for the relevant wood species in Europe.
Therefore, no additional settings are required to quickly display the moisture content of the wood.
With the BM22, there is no need to switch from the wood moisture mode to the building moisture mode, as the measured values are displayed on two parallel scales for the respective materials. A reference adapter is also integrated into the device’s protective cap to check the battery status and functionality.
