2-in-1 range hood with fan
Dynamic 360° Air Purification
Strong protection against air pollution thanks to our 360° air intake, which draws in air from every direction and maximizes cleaning performance.
Remove the dirt; the rest is just love
By aiming downward, pet hair and microparticles are lifted up, making it easier to draw them in and clean them out. The deodorizing filter continuously removes unpleasant odors.
Enjoy 24/7 air quality monitoring and optimized purification. Automatic adjustments based on air quality levels to save energy and maintain clean air in real time. Experience effective air purification with auto mode and adaptive airflow speed.
Filter Warning
Thanks to our filter indicator, you can quickly keep track of your range hood’s maintenance needs. It lets you know when to replace the filter to ensure optimal performance.
Remote Control
The remote control works up to 3.3 meters away from the device.
Everyday Savings
It optimizes the airflow direction and uses the Auto Mode feature to save energy and reduce costs.
Quiet work
At the lowest fan speed setting, the noise level is a quiet 38 dB(A), which is comparable to being in a library.
Light On/Off
Turn off the light on the control panel so it doesn’t disturb you while you sleep.
Preset timer
On/off timer up to 24 hours
The display panel automatically dims until the next action is taken if the device is idle for one minute. (After 1 minute, the screen dims by 1/3.)
¹ Based on tests conducted by KCL (Korea Conformity Laboratories), Coway air purifiers capture dust, pollen, dander, viruses, and bacteria. They have been tested in a 30 ㎥ chamber in accordance with the Korean Air Cleaner Association standard (SPS-KACA 002-132:2018, modified) to measure the particle removal rate at 0.01 ㎛. The test was conducted at the fan’s maximum speed under normal room temperature and humidity conditions. Performance may vary in the customer’s actual living environment.
² 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and pollen were removed from the air using Coway air purifiers equipped with GreenHEPA™ technology filters, based on testing conducted by the Japan Food Research Laboratories (JFRL) in accordance with the JEM 1467 standard. The following models were tested: AIRMEGA AP-1516D, AIRMEGA AP-1220B, AIRMEGA MIGHTY, as well as AIRMEGA 150, AIRMEGA 250, AIRMEGA 300S, and AIRMEGA 400S.
All of them took the JFRL test and achieved the results listed above within the time limit specified below:
-
Virus: tested with Escherichia coli phage ΦX174 NBRC 103405 for 60 minutes
-
Bacteria: Tested with Staphylococcus epidermidis NBRC 12993 for 60 minutes
-
Mold: Tested with Penicillium citrinum NBRC 6352 for 60 minutes
-
Pollen: Tested with cedar pollen extract, 30 minutes
Tested with the A-influenza virus (H1N1) and Staphylococcus aureus in Coway’s Green HEPA filter environment (Japan Food Research Laboratories (JFRL)), and no growth was detected on the material after 24 hours of storage at room temperature.
Both tests were conducted using small test specimens cut from a green HEPA filter media, so this conclusion can be applied to all Coway products that use this filter.
-
Virus: Tested with influenza A virus (H1N1), 3 cm x 3 cm autoclaved sample
-
Bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, inoculated onto a 50 mm × 50 mm test piece.
