The TAC 3000 X air purifier offers a variety of applications that probably no other air purifier on the market can provide: It can be used for everything from “standard construction sites” to asbestos cleanup, to filtering in hygiene-sensitive areas or for virus filtration, and even in cleanrooms—all with just one unit!
In addition to modular, combinable filter elements, the wide range of applications is primarily based on the unique Vario-Shift function, which allows the filter chain to be flexibly configured as needed with either a clamp fan or a HEPA filter, for example, to comply with cleanroom environmental regulations.

The Vario-Shift feature – unique worldwide
Conventional air purifiers with fixed filter cartridges work very well in construction site areas, but are completely unsuitable for cleanrooms used in renovation work and are therefore not permitted there. Since cleanroom environments are subject to regulations governing the use of terminal HEPA filters—the HEPA filter must therefore be the final stage in the filtration chain, downstream of the fan.
All Cleaned Up: All in One—Clean and Tidy
A fixed filter bank with a terminal HEPA filter, as required in cleanroom environments, would in turn be completely unsuitable for use in ordinary environments during mold-contaminated renovation work, since the fan would then become contaminated with spores and would have to be cleaned and disinfected each time at great expense.
However, until now, it has not been possible to flexibly cover both required areas with a single air purification unit and without using additional accessories.

While the fan and filter units are well protected behind control panels that can be easily removed for configuration adjustments, the control knobs on the outlet side provide direct access for adjustments:
- Two separate sensor-equipped indicator lights for the pre-filter and main filter provide both visual and audible alerts when the filter needs to be replaced
- To set the required air volume, it can be continuously adjusted using the Monoventic controller
- The operation indicator light signals that the device is working properly
- The built-in hour meter allows you to track working hours and plan maintenance

Mold and Asbestos Removal
Dust from stones containing quartz, synthetic mineral fibers, wood, cellulose, and asbestos is particularly hazardous. In addition, there is a high concentration of spores, allergens, and microfibers, for example, during building renovations, when working with insulation layers, or in the presence of mold. With the TAC 3000 X, you’re on the safe side, because this air purifier has an H dust class and is approved for asbestos removal in accordance with the TRGS 519 standard.
Cleanroom plumbing, as well as microbial and viral air filtration
The Vario-Shift feature allows the TAC 3000 X to be flexibly configured with a terminal HEPA filter, as required in a cleanroom environment. If necessary, the HEPA filter section can also be equipped with an H14 filter for the effective removal of viruses and other airborne contaminants in the 0.1–0.2 µm particle size range.
