A paint thickness gauge is used to quickly and accurately measure the thickness of metal coatings. Unlike many other thickness gauges, this paint thickness gauge does not need to distinguish between black and colored metal. With its small and compact design, the paint thickness gauge can be operated with one hand. Despite its small size, the paint thickness gauge has a measurement range of 1500 µm and an accuracy of ± (3% + 1 µm).
The measured values displayed on the paint thickness gauge can be output in µm, mm, and millimeters. In addition to measuring coating thickness, the coating thickness gauge can determine the minimum, maximum, and average values from a series of measurements. The coating thickness gauge also features an automatic shut-off function.
