A radiation detector is a small, sensitive radiation measuring device used to monitor X-ray, gamma, and beta radiation. The radiation detector uses an energy-compensated Geiger-Müller counter as its detector to ensure accurate measurements. According to the Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrSchV), personal dosimetry using a Geiger counter is mandatory in certain areas. The Geiger counter is equipped with a powerful microprocessor and a TFT screen, making it easy to use.
The radiation detector itself has three alarm modes: sound, LED light, and vibration. The alarm threshold can be set as desired. When the alarm threshold is reached, an alarm is triggered for safety. The device’s main technical specifications comply with international standards.
