The PV4-MID PS is intended for use in on-site electrical distribution panels in accordance with applicable regulations and complies with the requirements of BGI 608 for distribution equipment with switching devices and socket outlets. **

* What does “MID-compatible” mean?
MID-compliant meters comply with the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID), which defines the requirements for active power meters used for billing purposes. This also applies, for example, to the measurement of energy consumption
for billing purposes by insurance companies or to customers. The previous initial verification is replaced by MID compliance, but the devices must be re-verified after a specified period—for example, electronic meters in Germany must be re-verified after 8 years.
- Please note that if you use the PV4-MID PS at construction or installation sites near a building’s power outlet without knowing the safety measures in place, you must use an adapter compatible with the BGI-608.
