For water softener humidifiers. Limescale removal filters are easy to install and are particularly effective at removing limescale particles from the water, thereby preventing white dust from settling in the room.
This can be a problem, especially with high-capacity humidifiers. Filters ensure that only clean water is sprayed into the air. Limescale buildup is the biggest enemy of reliable humidifier operation; filters remove these minerals from the water so the humidifier can operate with minimal maintenance. This is also very useful when the humidifier is mounted high up and cannot be easily accessed for regular inspection or cleaning. The filter can be connected to water lines via PE hoses and can be used with any humidifier connected to the municipal water supply. The 50-liter version of the filter is equipped with approximately 22 kg of resin, while the 25-liter version contains approximately 11 kg of resin. The resin’s service life depends on the humidifier’s capacity and water hardness, but as a rough estimate, the 50-liter version can handle 5,500–6,000 liters.
