Characteristics of natural air humidifiers:

The operating principle of natural air humidification is based on drying wet filters with a fan. Moisture is released (dries out) from the humidification filters that have absorbed water, similar to the evaporation that occurs in everyday life, and therefore water vapor is not visible. Minerals in the water (hard water) do not enter the room but remain inside the unit. Oskar recommends replacing the paper humidification filters after 2–3 months of use.

A water droplet is so small that scale particles and bacteria cannot fit inside it.

When the device is not in use, the water tank should be emptied to prevent biomass (bacteria/algae) from forming in the residual water.

With natural air humidification, airborne dust also sticks to the humidification filters.

Applications for natural air humidifiers:

Natural humidifiers are suitable for use both at home and in the office. At home, we recommend using a humidifier primarily in bedrooms, since maintaining adequate humidity is most important there, and Oskar humidifiers operate quietly and consistently.

Pros and cons of the Oskar natural air dehumidifier:

+ Low noise level, minimal maintenance (filter replacement every 2–3 months), convenient for use with hard water (no white residue or dust).

— The Oskar’s humidification capacity is approximately 200 ml/h—less than that of more powerful humidifiers (e.g., the Oskar Big, approximately 500 ml/h) – therefore, it is recommended for smaller rooms (up to 20 m², with the door closed).
