PT 23000 S Commercial Air Conditioner
Mobile Cooling for Professionals

The PT 23000 S mobile air conditioner is specifically designed to meet the high demands of rental applications and features a robust, transport-friendly semi-modular design, high ease of maintenance, and reliable cooling performance. Thanks to the quick-connect fittings in the connection kit, external heat exchangers can be connected in an instant. Set it up, connect the heat exchanger, plug it in—and it’s ready to go—all in just a few minutes!
Only water mixed with glycol circulates in the connection line, so there should never be any loss of refrigerant when connecting or disconnecting. By combining multiple connection kits, the connection distance can be extended to up to 30 meters if necessary, allowing even distant rooms to be cooled.
Form follows function—consistently, down to the smallest details
The PT 23000 S’s durable construction, featuring sturdy panels made of galvanized steel and an additional powder-coated finish, ensures high resistance to weather conditions and harsh environments.
With its sturdy wheels and ultra-slim design, this air conditioner is easy to transport and maneuver even in the tightest spaces—the PT 23000 S fits through any door and into any elevator. Thanks to its specially reinforced housing, the cooling unit can also be easily transported by crane using the optional crane clamps. Two integrated front handles protect the front panel from impact damage and make handling easier.

Powerful cooling technology for continuous operation
The durability and quality of this professional air conditioning unit are evidenced by numerous detailed design features. For example, particularly durable aluminum heat exchangers with thick-walled copper tubes were installed, and the rotary compressor was mounted on vibration dampers to ensure maximum service life.
Two high-pressure radial fans for high-volume air circulation, combined with an adjustable outlet grille, ensure uniform cooling even in large rooms. Thanks to microprocessor-controlled hot gas defrost cycles and preset fan speed and target temperature settings, it is possible to achieve the optimal room temperature for any cooling requirement—even down to 10 °C, depending on operating conditions.
Thanks to its robust and compact design and the high performance of the PT 23000 S, this air conditioner is the top choice for many cooling applications—an optional spot cooler is also available as an accessory.
Install the connection lines quickly and easily using the quick-install method—this offers an unbeatable practical advantage:
PT-series air conditioning units have two separate refrigeration circuits. Since the indoor unit’s refrigeration circuit is hermetically sealed, an additional circuit is installed between the cooling unit and the outdoor heat exchanger to cool the condenser and dissipate heat using a connection kit, in which only low-glucose water circulates as the cooling fluid; therefore, as long as the units are properly connected and disconnected, there is no loss of refrigerant.
To enable quick installation of the water and energy lines between the air conditioning unit and the heat exchanger, the connection kits for these air conditioning units are equipped with high-quality quick-connect fittings, so that even longer connections—up to 30 meters—can be set up quickly, easily and neatly—ideal for offices, server rooms, and production facilities, control centers, or studios, where there is typically no option for heat dissipation in the immediate vicinity.
Plano PT unlocks even previously blocked installation paths
PlanoPT, available exclusively from Trotec, allows PT connection lines to be installed beneath all standard interior and exterior doors. In this way, the patented PlanoPT makes it possible to equip rooms that lack traditional installation access with cooling systems.
How much cooling capacity do your rooms need?
For commercial spaces, retail establishments, offices, or warehouses, you can use the following values to quickly estimate the required cooling capacity:
- 30 watts per cubic meter
for ideal commercial spaces that meet passive house standards, have a standard window area, and are used by a small number of people - 10 watts per cubic meter, plus
for insulation with lower performance - An additional 10 watts per cubic meter,
if there are more than 3 people in the room - An additional 10 watts per cubic meter
for windows with a larger-than-average surface area - 10 watts per cubic meter, plus
for south-facing windows and exterior walls - 50 watts per cubic meter
for rooms located in the attic.
Determining the required cooling capacity is particularly difficult for attic spaces in older buildings, as detailed information about the roof’s thermal insulation is often lacking. To be on the safe side, you should then calculate 60 watts per cubic meter, and even more for poorly insulated roofs and those with many skylights. - 55 watts per cubic meter for use with
air conditioning units in construction trailers
