The protective grilles above the heating fins prevent direct contact between the screen fabric and the heating elements. The IR 2005 SC features a slip-resistant mounting system that requires no tools, using a locking screw with a rotary knob. The infrared umbrella heater can be flexibly mounted on the umbrella pole at the desired height or angle. Its visually striking propeller design, combined with heating arms that can be adjusted vertically by 90° and continuously folded in and out, ensures intense 360° heat in every direction. The heat intensity of the three heating elements can be adjusted as needed.
In the first heat setting (700 W), one heating element turns on; in the second setting (1300 W), two heating elements turn on; and in the third setting (2000 W), all three heating elements turn on. Depending on the number of people, individual seats or entire seating areas under the umbrella can be provided with soothing warmth. Radiant heat always reaches exactly where it’s needed. To adjust the heat intensity, the IR 2005 SC has three heat settings—700 watts, 1,300 watts, and 2,000 watts—which can be controlled using the two heating element switches. Unlike devices with heating elements, the IR 2005 SC’s infrared rays do not heat the surrounding air, but only the surfaces and people they come into contact with. Heated objects (such as furniture, walls, and ceilings) absorb the heat and store it, gradually releasing it again. These objects thus act as additional energy and heat storage—even when the device is turned off—which further increases the efficiency of the IR 2005 SC infrared heater.
