PlanoPT Door-Mounted Connection Channel
When using water-cooled PT air conditioning units, installing the connection kits on an externally mounted heat exchanger can sometimes be difficult, depending on the installation location—for example, due to high walls or the absence of intermediate floors— such as in halls.
The PlanoPT under-door connection channel is the ideal, time-saving solution for situations like these!
The PlanoPT under-door duct can be used to connect water-cooled PT air conditioning units to their external heat exchangers, saving time even when the total length of the under-door connections is up to 40 m.
The PlanoPT, which is unique in the world and available exclusively from Trotec, includes all the connectors needed for quick installation of the connection kit. It features quick-release couplings, as well as connectors for the power cord and condensate hose.
The PlanoPT can be used with all water-cooled PT models and is equipped with all connections, ready for use on both sides. It is supplied fully ready for connection for use with the PT 6500 S air conditioning unit and can also be combined with the PortaTemp 4500 W or PortaTemp 6500 W using the adapter cable included as an accessory.
The flow pattern of the watertight multi-chamber system has been specifically optimized for the flow rates of PT air conditioning units, and despite the central section being only 6 millimeters high, it ensures unobstructed airflow without back pressure.
Thanks to its exceptionally flat center section, the PlanoPT can be installed under virtually any standard interior or exterior door. The PlanoPT does not affect the door’s closing mechanism, so, for example, the exterior doors of event venues can remain locked.
