TFV 300 Centrifugal Fan
The optimal solution for all applications involving air transport over long distances.
Proper ventilation is not only important for a pleasant working environment, but is also essential in many areas for occupational safety reasons and in accordance with official regulations.
Ventilating rooms removes harmful substances such as paint and varnish fumes, welding fumes, dust particles, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, and water vapor.
The TFV 300 high-pressure centrifugal fan is well-suited for such tasks, as it delivers up to 7,000 m³/h of air even over long distances with high back pressure and remains extremely stable in harsh operating conditions.
Since this fan draws in air axially and expels it radially, it is not only effective at handling heavily contaminated air with high dust content, but also ensures high and stable performance curves.
In addition to the standard version, the TFV 300 fan is also available as a rental version.
Thanks to its high airflow rate and high air pressure, the TFV 300 is suitable for a wide range of ventilation applications in industry and construction, such as cleaning tanks, welding work on duct and pipe systems, or sealing and flooring work on underground parking garages.
Harsh environments do not affect this high-quality unit, as the centrifugal fan is integrated into a sturdy powder-coated steel housing with a highly durable two-component paint finish. All desired steel grades are available upon request.
The TFV 300 also impresses with its high air transport capacity on long air transport routes featuring multiple turns and 40-meter hose lengths. Unlike axial fans, this powerful centrifugal fan directs air perpendicular to the impeller axis using the centrifugal principle, in which air is forced outward and compressed within a turbine-shaped housing. This technology not only ensures high discharge pressure but also makes the blower highly effective at handling heavily contaminated air with high dust content.
In addition to the standard frameless version, we can optionally supply you with the TFV 300, as shown, including a galvanized steel subframe with sturdy transport casters, which offers you maximum mobility and is ideal for use in frequently changing locations.
If desired, the TFV 300 is also available in an explosion-proof version.
Calculating Power:
- Calculate the volume of the building.
(In our example, 2,730 m³) - Calculate the required hourly air volume by determining the number of air changes and multiplying that value by the room’s volume.
(In our example, 21,840 m³/h) - Specify the total length of the channel between the inlet and outlet points in meters.
(29 meters in our example) - Calculate the total bend angle of the air transport hose in degrees.
(270° in our example) - Now, determine the intersection point between the airflow axis and the duct length axis based on the airflow characteristics of the TFV models, according to the values you have specified, and select the model whose corresponding curvature characteristic lies at this intersection or as close to it as possible.
(marked in green in our example)

Result: The TFV 900 meets the power requirements specified in our calculation example.
| Volume = (13 × 6 × 35 m) = | 2,730 m³ |
| Desired ventilation rates: | 8 air changes per hour |
| Channel length: | 29 m |
| curves = (3 × 90°) = | 270° |
| Required capacity = (2,730 × 8) | 21,840 m³/hour |
| Result: The TFV 900 meets the required power rating. | |
