The Wall Moisture Meter provides accurate moisture analysis for ten different material types, including drywall, masonry, hardwood, softwood, anhydrite screed (mass %), anhydrite screed (CM%), cement screed (mass%), cement screed (CM%), concrete, and gypsum screed. It uses a capacitive measurement method, and the sensor operates inductively.
The wall moisture meter has two threshold settings, which are shown on the bar graph and are designed for the 10 types of materials that our wall moisture meter can analyze. The first alarm threshold triggers a rapid beep and a yellow LED when moisture levels are between 20% and 69%. The second alarm threshold, which responds to values between 70% and 100%, emits a continuous audible signal and lights up a red LED. These features ensure reliable humidity monitoring and provide clear audible and visual warning signals.
The wall moisture meter also features a hold function and an automatic shut-off function. Readings are displayed on a 2-inch backlit LCD screen, which also shows a low-battery warning.
The Wall Moisture Meter is ideal for use in construction and renovation projects to check the moisture levels of walls, floors, and ceilings. It is often used by site managers, contractors, and inspectors to ensure that materials are dry and ready for processing. It is also useful in woodworking, quality control at construction sites, and the renovation of damp rooms to prevent mold growth and other damage.
