Blauberg Axis-FP 400/2 Series Axial Smoke Exhaust Fans with Aluminum Impellers
Usage
- Fans are used to remove smoke and exhaust hot air in the event of a fire. Fans are also used in general ventilation systems.
- The fans are designed for continuous operation at ambient temperatures ranging from -60 °C to +50 °C (depending on the climate category; see the marking key). The fans can operate for 2 hours at a temperature of +400 °C.
Design
- The fan consists of a housing, impeller, and motor. The metal housing with rolled edges provides exceptional rigidity and ensures minimal clearance between the housing and the blades. The housing features a maintenance hatch, which simplifies maintenance.
- All housing components are powder-coated to improve protection against environmental factors.
- The weight of the fans may differ from that shown in the catalog and depends on the components used (motor, terminal box, etc.).
Engine
- The fans are equipped with three-phase (400 V/50 Hz) motors. The motors have an IP55 protection rating. Depending on the model, the fans are available in single-speed or two-speed versions.
- Single-speed models are equipped with 2-, 4-, or 6-pole motors.
- Two-speed models are equipped with 2/4-, 4/6-, or 4/8-pole motors.
Blade
- Depending on their size and the required air volume, the fans are equipped with 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 12-blade impellers, set at angles ranging from 20° to 50°, to ensure that the fans are precisely matched to their operating point.
- The specially designed fan blades ensure high efficiency while keeping noise levels well under control.
- The blades are dynamically balanced. Their light weight and low moment of inertia help reduce the fan’s startup time.
- The fan blades are made of cast aluminum.
Installation
- Fans can be installed on any flat surface or directly into a ventilation duct. The units are suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation.
- For installation in an air duct, flanges are required to secure the fan to the duct.
- To mount the fan on the floor, wall, or ceiling, use O-AF brackets (not included as standard equipment; must be purchased separately).
- These fans are suitable for installation on roofs.
