Hystream 3400 for Professional Tile Installers

If there is damage beneath the tile covering or a core hole needs to be drilled, the damaged tile is usually destroyed. Time and again, rare tiles or older decorative patterns are encountered that can no longer be obtained—or only at great expense. With TilexPro, however, you can remove most tiles from the surface without destroying them and reuse them after renovation. Best of all: Depending on the version, the TilexPro system can be adapted to all common tile formats up to 30 cm or 50 cm in size—both square and rectangular.

Here’s how it works

With the TilexPro system, you can remove tiles from the substrate in just a few steps:

First, the tile is cut using a floor cutter. For this purpose, we recommend Trotec’s PMTS 10-230V multifunctional tool.
The system chamber is then adjusted to fit the size of the tile being removed, set up, and heated with a hot-air blower. The trade magazine “F+P Tiles and Plates” highlights Trotec’s professional hot-air gun, the HyStream 3400. We love it!
After that, the tile can be removed from the substrate in a few simple steps without breaking it, and reused after renovation.
