Trotec Luminat is a water-based dispersion that can be diluted with water but does not degrade and leaves virtually no visible traces in the visible wavelength range.
The formaldehyde-free luminescent pigments in this marker are activated only to achieve maximum fluorescence and become highly visible when exposed to UV radiation within the optimal wavelength range.
To ensure that users have access to the optimal UV-fluorescent dye with the best possible brightness for every application, the Trotec Luminat is now available in four vibrant colors, in addition to the established Luminat green version, there is now also Luminat Red , Luminat Blue and Luminat Purple .
Luminat is particularly well-suited for leak tests on water-bearing layers of flat roofs or for inspecting recesses and rainwater downspouts. The fluorescent substance can be detected at its exit points and made visible under UV light.
Other potential applications for the Trotec Luminat can be found in non-destructive testing (NDT) and leak detection, where capillary action is secondary and UV marking should leave no visible traces.
