Proper ventilation is not only important for a pleasant working environment, but is also essential in many areas for occupational safety reasons and in accordance with official regulations.

Ventilating rooms removes harmful substances such as paint and varnish fumes, welding fumes, dust particles, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, and water vapor.

Whether it involves large-scale ventilation of duct and pipe systems in Class 2 explosion-protected zones, the cleaning of cargo ship tanks, or construction work at refineries —the TFV 900 EX high-pressure centrifugal fan, designed in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, is ideally equipped for such tasks, as it delivers up to 25,000 m³/h of air, even through connected air transport hoses, over very long distances with high back pressure, and is designed to be extremely stable in harsh operating environments.

Harsh environments do not affect this high-quality unit, as the centrifugal fan is integrated into a sturdy powder-coated steel housing with a highly durable two-component paint finish. All desired steel grades are available upon request.

In addition to the standard frameless version, the TFV 900 Ex is also available in the configuration shown in the illustration, which includes an additional galvanized steel frame with sturdy transport rollers, forklift slots, and crane lifting points. The transport frame offers you maximum mobility and is ideal for use in frequently changing locations.

TFV 900 Ex switches, cables, and plugs are approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Suitable connectors, approved for use in Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22, are available for extension cables.

An 18.5 kW star-delta contactor combination for the TFV 900 Ex is also available as an option for EX Zone 22, 400 V, AC3, IP 55.
