PAC-W 2200 S: Maximum cooling—without a bulky outdoor unit
Installation in rental or apartment buildings is usually possible without any problems. To mount this stylish unit on an interior wall, only two wall openings facing outward (∅ 18 cm) are required. Fresh air enters the room through the air intake and exhaust ducts, and heat is transferred from the interior to the outside. Since the PAC-W 2200 S wall-mounted air conditioner cools without an external heat exchanger, there is no need to create a refrigerant circuit between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. Therefore, no trained HVAC technicians are required for installation.

Thanks to the latest technology, the energy-efficient PAC‑W 2200 S air conditioner combines three climate control functions in a SlimLine housing just 20 cm deep to create a comfortable environment. The three functions—cooling, ventilation, and dehumidification—can be used independently of one another, meaning this stylish unit can be used not only in the summer but year-round. Thanks to the energy-saving mode, its already low energy consumption can be reduced even further.
Three operating modes for a comfortable environment and optimal temperature while working:

With a dehumidification capacity of 0.8 liters per hour, moisture is removed from the air, creating a significantly more comfortable indoor climate. In addition, dehumidification prevents the growth of unhealthy mold. Since the condensed water is reused internally, the collection tank needs to be emptied only very rarely, as the condensed water is cooled through the condenser via an intelligent recycling system and a large portion of it simply evaporates.
Water is fed from the tank through a pipe running through the wall.
Highlight: In all three operating modes, you can activate the oscillation function to ensure optimal air distribution throughout the room. The top of the unit features an easy-to-clean air filter that removes lint, dust particles, and pet hair from the exhaled air.
Enjoy draft-free cooling: The climate control system has two ducts that bring fresh air from outside into the room and expel warm air. When the outside air is still cool in the morning and evening, the cool outside air is directed into the room—this enhances the cooling effect and saves additional energy. Furthermore, since the inflow of fresh air from outside does not create negative pressure in the room, there are no unpleasant drafts caused by air flowing in from adjacent rooms.

Once installed on the wall and set up, the PAC-W 2200 S regulates the room temperature fully automatically. On hot summer days, the air conditioner cools heated living rooms, bedrooms, and offices up to 30 m² or 75 m³ to the desired level with a powerful cooling capacity of 2.2 kW/8,000 Btu/h and an airflow rate of up to 500 m³/h. Target temperature (16 °C to 30 °C).
The three-speed fan mode with a deactivated cooling function provides an instantly noticeable feeling of freshness and coolness on the skin. The oscillating function ensures that air at an adjustable temperature is distributed over a wide area. The comfort features for creating a pleasant indoor climate in every way are complemented by a manually selectable humidity control function for optimal humidity regulation. A convenient 24-hour timer lets you program individual on and off times after a specified number of operating hours (1–24 hours). If things don’t go as planned and you come home earlier or later than expected, you can easily adjust the timer on the go using your smartphone. The mobile app makes it possible!
A refreshing night’s sleep with a comfortably regulated sleeping temperature
Whether it’s summer or winter—an uncomfortable temperature in the bedroom can literally rob you of sleep. That’s why the PAC-W 2200 S air conditioner features a quiet night mode with automatically controlled temperature regulation. In night mode, the preset temperature is gradually lowered by 1 °C over the first two hours and then maintained at a constant level. This prevents you from getting cold or having a restless night’s sleep. Pretty clever!
A mobile app for controlling your smartphone and tablet from anywhere
All settings for the PAC-W 2200 S can be adjusted either via the intuitive control panel, the convenient IR remote control, or the Trotec mobile app, Trotec Assistant. Are you coming home early and looking forward to a cool home? No problem—simply activate the air conditioner conveniently from your smartphone or tablet while you’re on the go. You can view the current room temperature, set your desired temperature, select an operating mode, and much more. The smart air conditioner controller automatically adjusts the temperature, cools the room before you arrive home, and turns off automatically when you leave. You can also adjust the temperature remotely.
