Spotcooler PT 5300 SP Mobile Air Conditioner: Cools work areas and machine systems simultaneously using three separate cold-air ducts.

“Heat stress,” resulting from increasingly hot summers and, often, a lack of modern cooling systems in the workplace. Not to mention craft and industrial businesses, where heat is practically a prerequisite for work. The consequences of excessive heat stress can be significant and may lead to health problems. That is why the mobile Spotcooler PT 5300 SP is a welcome solution wherever excessive heat bothers people and interferes with machinery. Best of all: thanks to three separate cold-air ducts, it distributes immediate cooling in three directions at once.

The Spotcooler PT 5300 SP, now available, is equipped with three separate cold-air ducts. Advantage: You can easily direct the cold airflow in multiple directions. The spot cooler can be used immediately without any preparation. As a truly multifunctional spot cooler, it can be used not only for spot or room cooling, but also for ventilation or dehumidification. This versatility allows, for example, for the efficient cooling of individual work areas or machines and system components, server and network rooms, spot cooling at events, during welding work, or in the food service industry.

Here’s how it works

Just turn it on and start cooling— the Spotcooler PT 5300 SP is ready to use without any setup and offers you an extremely wide range of applications with four different operating modes. The large control panel allows you to configure operating modes easily and intuitively.

  1. Room Air Cooling: The built-in thermostat automatically regulates the flow of cooling air based on the set room temperature and cools the room until the preselected target temperature is reached.
  2. Spot cooling: This spot cooling application is implemented via three adjustable cold air ducts. The ambient air temperature is not taken into account; instead, the desired outlet temperature is set via a thermostat. This means that the unit can be placed in an adjacent room to deliver cool air to the target area via connected air ducts.
  3. Fan mode: This is ideal when air conditioning isn’t needed, but you want the fan to circulate fresh air. To save energy, the compressor is turned off while the fan functions remain available.
  4. Dehumidification function: The Spotcooler also has a cooling effect when specifically drying the air in a room, but the fan speed is set to the minimum.

To automatically turn the seat cooler on or off, you can also use the timer function on the control panel. The control panel also features a warning light that indicates when the condensate tank is full, as well as a self-diagnostic function with an error display.

If necessary, an optional air discharge hose can be connected to the hot air outlet to direct the hot air outside. Instead of manually draining the condensate tank as usual, an optional condensate hose can also be connected to the automatic condensate drain. The PT 5300 SP’s sturdy steel construction is durable and, thanks to its compact design and stable casters, offers excellent maneuverability and mobility.

Four of the many benefits that I particularly like:

  • Multifunctional air conditioner for cooling a room, spot cooling, ventilation, or dehumidification
  • Three-channel spot cooler with three separately adjustable cold-air ducts for different target areas
  • Ready for immediate use, as no installation is required
  • timer function for presetting the on or off time
