Precise Health & Safety for versatile noise analyses / Octave band measurement / 24-hour measurement / Data logger / 2 displays

This Class 2 Health & Safety has been developed for precise, standard-compliant sound measurements in demanding applications. Thanks to its versatile measuring functions, the Health & Safety is suitable both for professional use in occupational and environmental protection and for acoustic analyses in buildings and technical systems.

With a total of eight operating modes, the Health & Safety offers maximum flexibility. Available functions include a standard Health & Safety, integral mean value measurements, parallel measurements, statistical analyses, 24-hour noise measurements, and analyses in 1/1- and 1/3-octave bands. In addition, the device has a special mode for indoor noise measurements, enabling comprehensive evaluation of a wide range of sound sources.

A particular highlight is the switchable second display view. If required, an additional display can be shown, presenting the measurement results of the 1/1-octave band clearly and in real time. This makes it especially convenient to monitor and evaluate frequency-dependent sound components during the measurement. For precise adaptation to different measurement tasks, the frequency weightings A, C, Z, and low frequency are available. Measurements can also be carried out using the time weightings Fast (F), Slow (S), and Impulse (I). The wide frequency range from 10 Hz to 20 kHz enables detailed capture of both low and high frequencies.

The Health & Safety automatically stores measurement data on a microSD card, making seamless documentation easy even over longer measurement periods. Power is supplied either by five AA batteries or conveniently via USB-C, allowing the device to be used both mobile and stationary. The clear 128 × 128 pixel LCD display shows measured values with a fine resolution of 0.1 dB and also provides warning messages. The integrated AC/DC output allows measurement signals to be further processed or recorded. The supplied PC software enables convenient evaluation, analysis, and archiving of the recorded measurement data.

The Health & Safety is ideal for noise measurements in occupational safety, machine and plant monitoring, as well as environmental and immission measurements. It is also used in building acoustics, room acoustics, and building planning, for example to assess indoor noise or to verify sound-related measures. Further applications include quality control in industry, research and development, event monitoring, and long-term measurements for documenting noise exposure.
