Proper ventilation is not only important for a pleasant working environment, but is also essential in many areas for occupational safety reasons and in accordance with official regulations.

Ventilating rooms removes harmful substances such as paint and varnish fumes, welding fumes, dust particles, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, and water vapor.

The TFV 600 Ex is designed for high flow rates in hazardous areas with high back pressure, even over long transport distances via multiple interconnected air transport hoses.

This makes the TFV 600 Ex the ideal transfer fan for ventilating Class 2 explosion-protected areas, such as during tank cleaning, at port facilities, in refineries, in mines, or in silos.

This powerful radial fan ensures a high airflow even over long hose distances of 50 meters and through multiple bends, because, unlike axial fans, the TFV 600 Ex directs air perpendicular to the impeller shaft using the centrifugal principle, whereby the air is forced outward and compressed within the turbine-shaped housing.

And since the centrifugal fan in this high-quality unit—which is manufactured entirely in Germany and designed in accordance with ATEXDirective 2014/34/EU, is integrated into a robust powder-coated steel housing with a highly durable two-component paint finish, it can also be used in aggressive environments. Optionally, the housing can be supplied in any desired steel grade.

In addition to the standard frameless version, the TFV 600 Ex is also available as an option, as shown, including an additional galvanized steel frame with sturdy transport rollers, forklift slots, and crane lifting corners. The transport frame not only offers you maximum mobility for use in frequently changing locations, but it can also be stacked twice to save space during transport or storage.

TFV 600 Ex switches, cables, and plugs are approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Suitable connectors, approved for use in Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22, are available for extension cables.

An 18.5 kW star-delta contactor combination for the TFV 600 Ex is also available as an option for EX Zone 22, 400 V, AC3, IP 55.
