How to Measure the Temperature in the Workplace Correctly:
The measurement should be taken using a radiation-shielded thermometer with an accuracy of within +/- 0.5° C (e.g., the T260 thermo-hygrometer).
Hourly tracking during work hours in the room:
- Seated activity: 60 cm above the floor
- Standing position: 1.1 m above the floor
Hourly monitoring of the outdoor temperature during working hours:
- in the shade
- 4 meters from the building, at a height of 2 meters
In some cases, humidity must also be taken into account when taking measurements.
Therefore, it is recommended to use a professional thermo-hygrometer to monitor indoor climate conditions.
