Functionality and convenience in one device

The Trotec TTK 53 E dehumidifier has all the features you’d expect from a modern, convenient dehumidifier. A new feature on this dehumidifier: a colored LED strip on the front panel indicates the room’s humidity level.

Thanks to its functional design, the TTK 53 E adapts flexibly to any interior style and reliably keeps heated rooms up to 31 m² dry with 2 fan speeds and up to 16 liters of moisture removed from the room air. Simple control panel, digital display, dehumidification modes: automatic mode with a preset humidity level of 55%, hygrostat-controlled automatic humidity level with a preset range of 30–80% RH (adjustable in 5% increments), continuous operation, and fan function. The display also shows, among other things, the current relative humidity in the room.

The TTK 53 E’s versatility is complemented by practical laundry drying and timer functions, a water tank full warning light, and overflow protection with automatic shut-off. The built-in memory function ensures that the set humidity level and operating mode are saved even after the dehumidifier is turned off. The integrated, washable air filter provides additional air purification.

A colored LED indicates the humidity level in the room

The effectiveness of the automatic mode is particularly evident when combined with the colored LED strip, which is a significant convenience. It automatically turns the device on when humidity exceeds 55% and turns it off when it falls below that level again.

• If the humidity in the room drops below 55%, a blue LED strip on the front panel lights up.
• The green LED strip indicates that the humidity is within the optimal range of 55–70%.
• A red LED strip indicates that the room’s humidity has risen above 70%.

DELICATE WASH AND DRY

In addition to dehumidifying the room, the dehumidifier can also be conveniently used to dry laundry—either as a supplement or as a complete replacement for a standard tumble dryer. The laundry drying function (also known as the textile drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional air-drying.

The advantage of these dryers is that they dry laundry gently, just like in nature. Colors stay vibrant, clothes last longer than with conventional tumble dryers, and they consume significantly less energy.

Propane (R290) as an Environmentally Friendly Refrigerant in Dehumidifiers

Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million metric tons of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this air dryer makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.

Propane (R290), a natural refrigerant, is an organic compound and a hydrocarbon. Unlike synthetic refrigerants, the environmentally friendly propane (R290) has no ozone-depleting potential (ODP = 0) and no significant global warming potential (GWP = 3).

An added benefit for the environment: Thanks to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant, which also helps reduce your energy costs.
