PCE-LMD 100 Photometer for Measuring Luminance

Light meter for measuring brightness / for monitors, screens, and LED video walls / memory on a microSD card / button on the sensor / rechargeable battery

The photometer is designed to measure the brightness of self-illuminating surfaces, such as monitor matrices, television screens, negatoscopes, reading panels, etc., such as monitor matrices, televisions, negatoscopes, reading panels, etc. The photometer ensures accurate measurements regardless of the spatial distribution of the measured brightness or the backlighting of the surface being tested. It is essential for checking medical displays and negatoscopes.

The unit of measurement cd/m² relates the photometric quantity cd (abbreviation for candela) to the surface area of the display, expressed in square meters. Another feature of the photometer is its built-in memory for measured values. This feature allows measurement results to be easily recorded and automatically saved. The photometer creates a text document in which the measured values are recorded one after another.

Thanks to its technical specifications, the photometer is classified as Class A according to DIN 5032-7 and CIE TC-2.2. The measurement probe is equipped with a multifunctional button that can be used to start a measurement, save results, and configure the desired measurement method, such as testing the gray-scale reproduction of monitors in accordance with the DICOM GSDF 1) function.
