Keep an eye out when buying a dryer: imitations of the DH-S series we tested—which look similar on the outside—are sometimes offered for sale elsewhere and appear to be a big hit. Visually similar to Trotec, but technically extremely risky: among other things, Trotec originals feature sophisticated electrical and water-carrying components finished in accordance with European standards —entirely handcrafted and quality-controlled by Troteci in Germany—so there’s nothing hidden there. Behind the faceless clone’s façade lies nothing more than the same cheap and dangerous technology from the Far East. Absolutely unsuitable for reliable industrial use and, in some cases, even life-threatening from the standpoint of electronics and equipment safety.
