The dust filter set consists of F5 and F7 filters to quickly and effectively remove dust from the air during tasks such as sawing, sanding, drilling, and any other similar activities that generate dust. Compared to a HEPA filter, these filters have a higher airflow rate, which means that more air passes through the unit in a shorter amount of time. Larger airborne dust particles are quickly removed.

With this filter set, the ProAir 1000 air purifier has an airflow capacity of approximately 1,590 m³ per hour.

The filter set consists of:

• The F5 filter, combined with a foam pre-filter, removes coarser dust particles from the air before they reach the subsequent filters. The foam pre-filter is cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. This “pre-filter” extends the service life of the F5 filter. The F5 filter then filters out smaller dust particles. At 50 mm deep, the filter is twice as deep as the F5 pre-filter in a standard filter set and an odor filter set.
• F7 fine dust filter; the F7 filter is effective against dust particles of PM10 size and larger. Since the F7 filter has lower resistance than a HEPA filter, it is more effective in rooms with high levels of airborne dust, and the cleaning cycle is faster.

The filters measure 405 × 405 mm, with a total depth of 100 mm.

Depending on the circumstances, the filter has an average service life of 6–12 months.
