The new DR 2021 BIEMMEDUE dehumidifiers are the result of a rigorous and meticulous, state-of-the-art, technologically advanced design process focused on performance, quality, durability, and reliability. These features make the DR 2021 versatile for professional dehumidification, air drying in residential areas, archives, and warehouses, as well as for drying after water damage.
Highly efficient fans and compressors, combined with new, advanced electronic control features, contribute to cost-effective operation and significant energy savings. In addition, non-marking rubber wheels and an extendable rear handle make it easy and convenient to move these dehumidifiers from one room to another in a simple and practical way.
Even getting started is very simple and intuitive: unlike dehumidifiers with analog controls, the DR 2021 allows you to set the desired humidity level via a convenient digital display, which shows real-time humidity and temperature readings during operation. environment, as well as a diagnostics page where you can analyze malfunctions and parameters of the refrigeration circuit.

DR 2021: GWP AND THE ENVIRONMENT
The new DR 2021 models are designed and manufactured in accordance with the F-Gas Regulation: “Regulation (EU) No. 517/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 16, 2014, on fluorinated greenhouse gases and repealing Regulation (EC).” To comply with the new F-gas regulations, the new DR 2021 models are equipped with the new eco-friendly refrigerant R454C, which has very low GWP values (global warming potential, i.e., contribution to the greenhouse effect and global warming).

DISCOVER NEW ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEMS
A new and modern electronic control unit, combined with a standard electronic air humidifier in all models, optimizes the use of the dehumidifier by activating it only when necessary. The control panel is conveniently located and easily accessible to the user, who can set the desired humidity level using “soft-touch” buttons. During operation, the electronic control unit displays the current humidity and temperature values in the environment to ensure control over the ambient climate data.
By default, the electronic control unit manages two event logs, one resettable and one cumulative: indispensable and practical for rental applications, with multiple accessory pages and a diagnostics page for analyzing refrigeration circuit malfunctions and parameters.
POWER
The dehumidifier’s capacity, expressed in liters per 24 hours (l/24h), is the key parameter to consider when selecting the ideal model. In fact, it indicates the amount of water that a specific machine can extract from the humid air in its operating environment over the course of one working day. Capacity therefore allows you to understand both the dehumidifier’s performance and its operational efficiency. For example, a high-capacity dehumidifier is useful for drying large spaces, but it can also dry smaller spaces more quickly. Conversely, a dehumidifier with lower capacity is a suitable choice for smaller spaces that do not require overly powerful units. All new Biemmedue dehumidifier models are rated with a relative maximum capacity value (expressed as a number and calculated under environmental conditions of 32 °C and 90% humidity).
REQUIRED AIR FLOW
Another important parameter to consider when selecting the right-sized dehumidifier is the required airflow—that is, the volume of air the unit can move per hour to properly treat the work environment. To simplify the process of selecting a model, we can say that under normal dehumidification and maintenance conditions, our models can be installed in the following specified capacities:

SPECIAL APPLICATIONS
The DR 50 and DR 70 models can be equipped with an accessory that allows heated dry air to be directed into cavities. This accessory is equipped with a powerful centrifugal fan that can blow the already dried air through two 100-mm-diameter ducts up to 6 meters long (not included).
On the DR 35, DR 50, DR 70, and DR 100 models, you can remove the base and connect a condensate removal pump kit. This accessory allows you to pump condensate to a level higher than the environment in which the DR 2021 is installed. The maximum head is 5 m.
