Key differences between the two types of heaters. The TDS series electric heaters are ideal for primarily stationary temperature control in unheated indoor spaces, as they do not consume oxygen or produce combustion exhaust gases, meaning they do not require ventilation in enclosed spaces. In contrast, the IDE-Series D direct-fired diesel heaters are ideal for outdoor use or in well-ventilated indoor spaces. Indirect-heating IDE units can also be used to heat enclosed spaces when an optional smoke extraction system is installed.
Advantages of the TDS Series Electric Forced-Air Heater
The series includes a total of 7 models, starting with TDS 30 5 kW to 5 kW to TDS 120— 30 kW of heating capacity. - The IDE Series D direct-fired heatersare ideal for outdoor use, for heating construction sites, agricultural areas, or well-ventilated indoor spaces, since all the heat is made available. That is why direct-fired heaters do not have a chimney. A total of 5 models are available in the D series—starting with IDE 20 D ( 20 kW) up to the IDE 100 D– with a heating capacity of 100 kW.
- The IDE series of indirect oil-fired heaters are ideal for spaces where ventilation is limited but which are still intended for use by people and animals. They are also a good choice for speeding up the drying of buildings and for rooms where there is a fire hazard due to the presence of flammable materials. A total of 5 indirect heaters are available—starting with the IDE 20 with a heating capacity of 20 kW up to 80 kW IDE 80– .
