How does an electric hot water generator work?
The SPLIT-E heats the flowing water using electric heating elements. Since it is a flow-through system, there is no need to store hot water in a tank in advance. Hot water is produced only when it is actually needed.
The water temperature can be adjusted within the range of 0–90 °C, allowing you to select the appropriate temperature for the washing process.
This makes the SPLIT-E suitable for use in, for example, manufacturing, workshops, car washes, agriculture, and the food industry.
Why choose an electric hot water generator?
A key advantage of an electric system is that it does not use diesel or gas on-site to heat water.

The SPLIT-E housing is made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, which ensures good corrosion resistance and makes the unit suitable for hygiene-sensitive industrial environments as well.
Safety in Professional Use
In the case of an industrial hot water heater, it is important to prevent the electric heating elements from operating without the necessary water flow.
SPLIT-E uses a flow switch on the water inlet to control the activation of the heating elements. In addition, the unit is equipped with a safety valve and two-stage temperature control.
The user can adjust the operating temperature up to 90 °C, and an additional 70 °C safety thermostat provides the system with a second level of protection. The control circuit operates at a low voltage of 24 V.
50% or 100% heating capacity
On SPLIT-E models with six heating elements—except for the 24-kW version—you can select either 50% or 100% heating capacity.
This allows the device’s energy consumption to be adjusted to actual operational needs.
The system also uses a 5-second delay between the start of water flow and the activation of the heating elements. The purpose of this is to protect the contactors from excessive on-off cycling and to improve the system’s reliability.

The Biemmedue SPLIT-E is particularly well-suited for professional and industrial applications where hot water is needed regularly and in large quantities.
