TROTEC SMOKE CHAMBER
An inexpensive alternative to using flue gases for detecting leaks in flat roofs is to use a flue gas chamber.
A special smoke is generated here using a smoke cartridge that is inserted into the smoke chamber’s cartridge holder and then blown into the insulation layer. However, with this method, the fogging time is limited to approximately 80 seconds.
A prerequisite for blowing smoke into the flue gas chamber is connecting the dryer—which has a sufficiently thick insulation layer—to the technical equipment.
