For use with an anti-scale filter
The water filter helps remove limescale and has antibacterial properties, making the humidification system safe for your health, and it doesn’t detract from the room’s decor.
Limescale is the biggest enemy of a humidifier’s reliable operation. Filters can be used to remove these minerals from the water, allowing the humidifier to operate with minimal maintenance.
The anti-scale filter uses a cartridge filled with ion exchange resin, which removes calcium carbonate from the water—a well-known and widely used method for water softening.
The filter can be connected to water lines using PE hoses and can be used with any sprinkler system connected to a central water supply.
The filter cartridge used is 15 inches long, which is one and a half times longer than standard 10-inch filters.
The cartridge’s service life depends on water hardness and the humidifier’s capacity; the average service life is approximately 1,200–1,500 liters.
