The TFV 20 is a remarkably effective solution for high-volume air circulation in many professional applications, as this centrifugal fan—available exclusively from Trotec—is characterized not only by German industrial design optimized for practical use, but above all by its performance and durability.

The TFV 20 is designed for maximum flexibility in harsh operating conditions. That is why, inside its extremely sturdy plastic housing, there is a dual-flow centrifugal fan featuring an extra-large special shaft and a fully metal-encased motor to protect it from dust and dirt.

The control knobs are also recessed to protect them from impact damage. In addition to a two-position on/off switch and a MID-compliant* dual counter for operating hours and energy consumption, the control panel comes standard with a maintenance port for direct connection to an additional turbo fan or dehumidifier.

Integrated stop buffers allow for space-saving stacking of multiple units during transport and storage. For local ventilation, the turbo fan equipped with a mounting bracket can be installed in three different positions: horizontally, at a 45° angle, or vertically. This allows for a wide range of ventilation scenarios, and the TFV 20’s non-slip running rails ensure a stable base in every installation position.

An optional hose manifold is also available for targeted ventilation, with connections for two ventilation hoses with a total length of up to 40 meters.

Our airflow engineers designed the TFV 20 air outlet nozzle to generate a wide airflow near the floor, over wet floor coverings or damp leveling layers, ensuring optimal distribution of the room air and a uniform drying rate. The drying rate has increased significantly—making it ideal for drying carpets, for example.

* What does “MID-compatible” mean?

MID-compliant meters comply with the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) 2004/22/EC, which, among other things, specifies the requirements for active power meters used for billing purposes. This also applies, for example, to the measurement of energy consumption for billing purposes by insurance companies or for customers. Such devices come with an initial factory calibration, which is valid for 16 years for electromechanical meters and 8 years for electronic meters. After the validity period expires, a new calibration must be performed.
