The compact and portable TTR 50 E adsorption dehumidifier is the ideal dehumidification solution for unheated spaces such as basements, garages, sunrooms, laundry rooms, summer cottages, storage rooms, and generally low-temperature areas. Where cold and moisture become a problem, where there is a risk of mold, or where a person’s health has deteriorated, the powerful TTR 50 E, with its hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification, helps quickly and reliably achieve an optimal relative humidity of 50% or 60%.

The TTR 50 E can permanently prevent problems with condensation, mold growth, and musty odors in rooms up to 18 m² or 45 m³ in size. We also recommend this dehumidifier—which features an integrated handle, a 2.5-liter water tank, a washable air filter, and a condensate hose connection—for effective damage restoration thanks to its adjustable continuous operation mode (continuous operation) after water damage (flooding, overflow, inundation) to effectively repair the damage.

Optimal in unheated and cold environments

In particularly cold regions, where conventional desiccant dehumidifiers do not provide sufficient or cost-effective moisture removal, the TTR 50 E impresses with its powerful moisture removal capacity of up to 7.5 liters/24h, even at low dew points and temperatures below 0 °C (down to -10 °C). Compressor-based condensation air dryers tend to freeze at low temperatures and must cycle through regular defrost phases. This significantly increases energy consumption and also reduces moisture removal performance. Not so with the TTR 50 E. Without energy-intensive compressor technology, the dehumidifier operates in a pleasantly energy-efficient manner, without interruptions or annoying noise.

The modern TTR 50 E combines convenience and cutting-edge design in a pure white plastic housing. Visually, the dehumidifier impresses with its rounded, understated design, free of corners and edges. The integrated carrying handle perfectly complements the rounded design language. The level indicator on the front panel clearly displays the water level in the 2.5-liter water tank. A flashing LED signals when the water tank needs to be emptied. The TTR 50 E’s convenience features are complemented by three-speed adjustable ventilation with a room-circulating rotation function and an 8-hour timer for automatically turning the unit off.

Drying Delicate Laundry with Air Dryers

In addition to dehumidifying the room air, the dehumidifier can be conveniently used to dry laundry—either as a supplement or as a complete replacement for a conventional tumble dryer. The laundry drying function (also known as the fabric drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional outdoor air drying.

The advantage of air dryers is that they dry laundry gently, just like nature does. Colors remain vibrant, and clothes last longer than they do in conventional tumble dryers, all while consuming significantly less electricity.

In addition, you can dry delicate materials such as wool, silk, or synthetic fibers without hesitation. Unlike drying with just air, the laundry becomes much softer and more comfortable to wear against the skin.

It is also possible to dry laundry using air dryers without a tumble-dry function. In this case, set the target humidity level according to the desired residual moisture:

Three-speed ventilation with a reversible rotation function

Consistent humidity in a room requires good air circulation. With three-speed ventilation (max 126 m³/h), you can optimally adjust the air circulation to suit the size of the room. The oscillation function ensures optimal air distribution, even around furniture and objects.

Switched ionization

The ionization function can be turned on so that the TTR 50 E can capture dust particles even more effectively through the air filter. This function emits negatively charged ions, whose static charge binds to floating pet hair, fluff, and dust particles, causing them to settle on the floor, where they are immediately sucked up and filtered by the three-stage fan’s airflow. This cleans the room air of coarser particles.

Connection for the condensate drain hose

Save yourself the trouble of emptying the water tank! You can connect a hose to the back of the unit so that condensation can drain away continuously. This makes it easy to direct the water into an existing drain.

8-hour timer – programmed for convenience and energy efficiency

To save on unnecessary operating time and, consequently, electricity costs—for example, when drying laundry—the air dryer can be preset to run for two, four, or eight hours.
